Comments: 1000 took about 25 hours and the full 1250 took about 30 hours total. To get all of the gamerscore you musn't be rescued (i.e. die) more than 100 times in the whole game as well as beating the story in 12 hours, so saving often and reloading when you die/fall is the best way to ensure the achievements unlock, but it is annoying. The epilogue in particular is much more difficult and all of that reloading required was a major pain. Make a save before the final temple so that after beating the story you can reload and hunt all 1001 light seeds. You don't really need a guide, you just need to follow all of the paths between the fertile grounds - this was 6 hours of work by itself. The game would have been more fun without going for 100% - it would have likely been 15-20 hours for 700-900 points. At the time of this comment 900 gamers (0%) have all 1250 gamerscore.

Comments: Collecting every light seed, there are 1001 of them, can be really frustrating. I suggest trying to only collect enough to open all the levels, then using a guide to go back through and follow it from start to finish. There are a bunch of really good youtube videos you can follow to help you. The game itself is pretty easy and a ton of fun. Make sure you do not die too many times or else you will miss an achievement. The DLC I thought was harder, you can only die 20 times before you miss the achievement. Highly recommend this game.

Comments: If you want the 1000 then there'll be plenty of saving and loading, and plenty of searching for light orbs. Still you can do it without FAQs quite easily. Just make sure to save just before entering the temple for the final time, so you can load up later & keep hunting.
